Problem
"Since Installing the Turbu-Flow in August 2002 there has not been any premature failure of the heating elements. Coles have specified that Turbu-Flow be installed on all new hot water installations in Western Australia, coastal and known hard water areas. We have installed numerous Edson Hot Water Systems and Turbu-Flow in a number of known hard water areas with fantastic results." - John Mangan, Edson Hot Water Systems, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. "...I have been installing the Turbu-Flow at my house it have been working in about two weeks now, and I must say that we can feel difference to the water. In this moment we have seen that the dishwasher should have lesser rinse aid, the glasses are perfect."- Svend, Denmark "First, the product performed above our expectations. Second, it changed the way hardness in the water deposited on surfaces such as our sinks. The deposits are easy to clean and now we only need a sponge and soap to wash our sinks." - Walter & Elisabeth Bauer, Ontario, Canada. "Since installing a Turbu-Flow on the pressure pump and one on the air conditioner we have had fantastic results. In over 2 months, the air conditioner that would only run for 10 days hasn’t missed a beat. We got up onto the roof to check the pads and they are cleaner than after we had used the de-scaler." - Glen & Ann, Baldivis, Western Australia. "At some stage after the conference, a complaint was received in relation to a case of Blue Water in the Sydney suburb of Neutral Bay. I was able to obtain a free of charge DN 15 Turbu-Flow unit from you/Galvin’s and had it installed in the affected property. Copper levels were reduced significantly. A subsequent NSW NorthCoast property case was reported, and dealt with similar success. It is worthy of note that the first case was with Sydney treated water and the other with untreated tank water." - John Williamson, Copper Development Corporation, Australia

What Is Hard Water?
Hard water is classified as water that has a high mineral content, mainly calcium and magnesium ions and can also include iron, manganese, sodium and other dissolved compounds such as bicarbonates and sulfates.
With increased mineral content hard water problems include;
-Scaling of pipes and associated equipment.
-Spotting on dishes, shower doors, cars, motorbikes.
-Soap scum in sinks and bathtubs.
-Scum rings in bath tubs, swimming pools and spas.
-Reduced foaming and cleaning abilities of soaps and detergents.
-Dingy and yellowed laundry with soapy residues that require extra rinsing.
-Increased water heating costs from a buildup of minerals on heating elements in hot water systems, dish washers, kettles reducing their efficiencies.
-Possible skin infections from bacteria trapped in pores under soap scum.
